This knife belonged to my Great Uncle. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II having fought during the Normandy Campaign where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He also received the World War II Victory Medal, American Defense Medal, American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Ribbon and a Good Conduct Medal. It’s funny how a little old beat up knife can bring back so many memories.
