I’m normally not the kind of person that goes up to people that I have never met and just starts talking to them, but I decided to change. Today while walking by the river I met a man fishing, Daryoush. He is an Iranian refugee that came to America over six years ago and is now a U.S. citizen. It was nice talking with someone from a country that I know nothing about.

This is really cool.
Nice shot. He was very accommodating and gave you pleasant and thoughtful look. Makes you wonder what he is thinking. I’m sure your conversation with him will be the talk of the dinner table.
Excellent photo. The photo alone would give me the impression that he is a warm, gracious man you could talk with for hours. I am reminded of my friend Welton Gaddy’s observation, “There are people with whom I can talk for five minutes and be worn out, and there are people with whom I could talk all day and be refreshed.” Daryoush presents in this photo as a man with whom a long conversation would be refreshing.
