A bumblebee doing what he does best, pollinating our cone flowers. I spotted him from our front door, grabbed my camera and headed outside to find out which way he went. Because my bee dialect is very rusty, he would not stay still when I asked. But after a few minutes of chasing him from flower to flower I was able to make this photo. I love the colors and the details in the photograph.

Super stunning shot Ken. I wish I could get one like this. You are gonna make me go and sit by some flowers.

Thank you, I’m glad you like it. It might make you want to sit by flowers, but that is fairly inexpensive. You and your blog regularly make me want to visit Africa again, not so inexpensive.

Love yout photo! One day I was trying to get a photo of a bumble bee on our bottle brush tree but he was so busy working that I could not get that perfect shot.

Bees, my personal addiction. I love that the flower is so sharp and contrasts the bee’s color.
