Day 221: Looking for Light

by Ken Worley

Day 221: Lindsey

I was practicing the skill of looking for nice light in any room and  needed a model; it’s nice to have a daughter that likes to be the model. The light source for the above photograph was a common table lamp.

Shot with a 50mm lens, 1.8 @ 1/50 and ISO 800.

Manual: page 39 “Basic Setup (Cont.)”

Inspiration: Erik Clausen

I like the side lighting on your daughter and can’t beat 50mm for it’s sharpness.

The perfect model. Is nice that she is a willing participent and not doing it cause she feels forced.
