Stopping by the pier on the way to work to enjoy the sounds of the ocean, and looking up at the stars is a great way to start the day.

The marsh is a cool place to spot wildlife. The birds on the driftwood are snowy egrets, and the one on the far right is a white ibis.

With the days getting warmer and because of the time change it staying lighter longer, we are spending much more time outside. One of our favorite things to do is to take a walk on the beach and search for interesting things.

The kids and I went for a walk on the beach today after work. Have I told you how much I enjoy living on an island? It’s nice to find cool shells at the beach as the sun starts to set.
