Day 18 Project 366 – Tractors

by Ken Worley

A combine harvester and a few other pieces of farm equipment sit in a field slowly rusting. Things here rust a little faster than I’m use to so I’m not sure how long they have been in the same spot. Maybe this summer I’ll find out if this is still a working farm.

Day 17 Project 366 – Read the Directions

by Ken Worley

My two little ones checking out how to play a game. Even though they played the game earlier they still wanted to read the directions on the back of the box, or at least one of them wanted to read it and the other one was just given the job of “box holder.”

Day 16 Project 366 – Longboard Fun

by Ken Worley

If you have been following my project 366 you might remember I gave myself a longboard for Christmas this year. So every chance I get I’m outside riding my new mode of transportation while the kids are riding bikes or their own skate boards. Here’s a photo of me riding around around my Sony NEX6 camera which was on a small Joby tripod. I used my iPhone to remotely trigger the camera as I skated by.

Day 15 Project 366 – Light through the Storm

by Ken Worley

A storm rolls in over the pier, while the sun shines through the clouds. Seeing how small the pier looks from this distance reminds me of how large and unpredictable the ocean can be at times.

Day 14 Project 366 – Twilight

by Ken Worley

This morning I had a chance to stop and watch the sun rise over the Cape Fear River. It was still twilight when I made this photograph. I was enjoying the calm and stillness of the small vacant beach, and the gentle but rhythmic sound of the water made the moment that much relaxing. Although I was not able to get a photo of them, shortly after I made this photo there were at least two dolphins swimming just off shore.
