Just a quick shoot while cooking out on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

I had a chance to take my oldest daughter out for a dinner date and a play. I work closely with the drama group that performed Sense and Sensibility and most of our family has been in at least one play with them. It was a wonderful show and Lindsey and I had a nice night together. I try to spend one on one time with my girls a often as I can.

I noticed this car outside a restoration shop on the way to the Center of Children and Young Adults, where I teach their photography club. I’m really hope to see this awesome fixer upper completely restored one day, it would look great in a high school senior session. But for now I guess it will just have to wait it’s turn.

I love photography cars in the parking lot as I walk by.

Here’s a little historic trivia to go with today’s photo. Today in 1783 the Benjamin Tower of Philadelphia was  published, the 1st daily newspaper in the U.S.
