This week’s photograph is from a recent family session. I love the reflection in the lake. I walked over to the other side of the lake to do little location scouting, turned around to talk to Jamie and saw this awesome place to put the boys. Remember to always look around when out shooting, there might be a great scene just over your shoulder.
Everyone meet Tara
Tara is a member of the home school photography club I mentioned in the first New Friend Friday post. Tara told me that she does not like how photos of her turned out, hopefully this one will change her mind.

Aperture Priority – Is a mode on the camera that allows you to select the aperture and the camera will choose the shutter speed for the correct exposure.
This week’s photograph is of a moth that I spotted while walked down the sidewalk. It made the Motivation Monday post for two reasons. First, it’s straight out of camera and Second it reminds me to slow down when out shooting. There are so many that might be missed if I’m rushing.
This weeks new friend is Margaret.
I met Margaret when she came to our church to present information about Safe Families for Children. Safe Families give volunteers a chance to help families in their community that are going through hard times by temporarily caring for the families children.
