Oak Island had a Solstice by the Sea Festival today with a lot of different things going on all day. The live music was great and this guy made me think of a synesthetes. Which is a person that sees music as color. He just kept painting while the bands were playing.

My two youngest had their orientation flight today with the Civil Air Patrol. It was the first flight ever for both of them.

The kids were showing me one of their school books about water. It had a lot of cool pictures related to water in different physical states. On was a straight pin floating on top to a cup of water, so I had to give it a try.

It was a busy day and I only had time for one photo. I grabbed my camera with a long lens and shot the moon. This image is straight out of camera.

We train so we are prepared when called to rescue someone.
