Day 229: Fishing

by Ken Worley

Day 229: Ty

While walking by the river, I met a man fishing named Ty. He was enjoying the nice weather and catching fish for dinner. Ty has had few heart attacks and has now changed his way of life. One way is to relax more, what better way to relax than to sit by that river and catch your dinner.

When is the last time you were able to truly relax. Please take the time to relax every once in a while, even if you have to schedule in on your calendar.

Day 228: Kayak

It was a nice day to be on the river. This photo makes me want to go buy a kayak and take a little trip on the river.

Orange mystery flower. While on the way to photograph a wedding  we stop at a rest area and spotted these orange flowers; we think they are in the daisy family.

Day 222: Bracelet

We are making bracelets for the kids in Sudan. It’s kinda fun to make things out of something as simple as pieces of thread.

Day 221: Looking for Light

Day 221: Lindsey

I was practicing the skill of looking for nice light in any room and  needed a model; it’s nice to have a daughter that likes to be the model. The light source for the above photograph was a common table lamp.

Shot with a 50mm lens, 1.8 @ 1/50 and ISO 800.
