Day 80: Moon and Tree

by Ken Worley

Day 80: Tree and Moon
Most of the time I at least tweak the photos in Lightroom, giving them a little vignette and adjusting curves before posting them, but this photo is straight out of camera. The vignette on the bottom is coming from the trees behind me.

Day 78: One too Many

There was one power toy at my grandmother’s house today, but many children. So one would drive and the others would chase behind trying to jump on the back.

Day 77: A Stocking for Jesus

by Ken Worley

Day 77: Jesus Stocking
Remember the real reason for Christmas. To help remind us, we hang a stocking for Jesus on our tree. The note on it reads:

A Stocking for Jesus

Each Christmas we hang stocking with care,
And fill them with gifts for loved ones to share.
But do we forget that the first Christmas night
God gave us His Son who gave us His life?

A sacrifice so great… how can we repay?
We can say, “Thank you Jesus” on His birthday.
Hang a stocking for Jesus and fill it with love.
Do good deeds for others to thank God above.

Day 75: My Christmas Gifts

by Ken Worley

Day 75- My Christmas Gifts
We opened our Christmas gifts early this year. My family is awesome; they got me just what I wanted. I’ve been looking for some cool new shirts, a camera grip strap, and a watch. Also after reading a few reviews on the “Vision Mongers” book, I just had to have it. Now I don’t have to buy it. There was also a bonus the “Best Business Practices for Photographers” book and a “Crazy for Kenken” book that Jamie could not resist getting because as she put it, she is “Crazy for Ken Ken.”

Manual: page 110 “Printing Photographs”

Inspiration: We were given a wonderful gift by new friends, the book “Time Great Discoveries Explorations that Changer History”. I look at the amazing images in this book for today’s inspiration.

Day 72: Tree Reflections
Again you never know what you will see while going for a walk. This reflection caught my eye, I love the silhouette of the trees reflecting in the water.

Day 71: Time

by Ken Worley

Day 71: Time
Every person is unique, but they all have something that is the same, the amount of time in a day. No matter how you look at it: 86,400 seconds; 1,440 minutes; or 24 hours; it’s the same amount of time for every person on earth. How will you spend the time you have in a day? Just thought I would give you something to think about.
