Future sailors should know how to tie a few knots.

I had the Andy Griffith theme song in my head as we walked to the pier.

It was a great day for a kayak trip with my youngest, and a little male bonding. We were on part of Intracoastal Waterway and it’s crazy how large some of the boats look when you’re almost eye level with the water. The current turned these anchored sailboats so they looked like a small traffic jam. If this is the only traffic I have to deal with, I’m good.

Just a little skateboarding before supper. Loving the cooler weather.

A lone fishing boat headed down the waterway.

Photographed through my dirty car window, we are under a water ban right now.

When my dad came to town he did what many grandfathers do with their grand kids, spoil them. As a result my son got a remote control helicopter. Of course I had to help him learn how to get it going, but he’s catching on very fast.
