I saw a few Wave-Runners in the waterway on the way home today. Some one once said “why don’t they call them a watercycle.”

There were so many cool things in the 4th of July parade today. But these guy were having so much fun in their miniature cars, I had to use them for my photo of the day.

When you live on an island there is no shortage of boats to photograph. A shrimp boat, the “Lady Anne” motoring down the waterway.

Southport holds a firefighter’s competition every year during the 4th of July Festival.

There were a few dolphins swimming in the surf today. I was only able to photograph one before they were out of sight.

It was a nice afternoon for sailing.
