The reason for Christmas is Jesus Christ. Here is my attempt of a light painted Nativity scene. Merry Christmas everyone.

I made a Christmas tree out of nothing but a flashlight and a colored gel.

Even our dog Lacy is getting into the Christmas spirit, we have a gift under the tree from her.

Home improvement projects have good and bad side to them. We are building a new fence for our back yard. The old one we kicked down, no tools required, that’s how close it was to falling over in a strong wind. Today Home Depot delivered the supplies for the fence, yea that they deliver. The problem was that the wrong size posts were delivered so now we have to wait a little longer for the next stage of the project.

I had to take an old Dell computer apart today and decided to play with the manual focus on my Nikon P7000. I placed  a LED light to the bottom of the camera frame to try and get a more dramatic look.

When I think of Christmas candy the first thing that pops in to my head is the white and red stripes of peppermint. I really like the ones that melt in my mouth.

Around this time of year there are so many treats around the office being delivered form different companies and most of them are full of candy. It nice to see a basket full of fruit in the mix.

The Cherokee County Fire Department came to collect the Toys for Tots donation today and brought a surprise guest with them.

Today we had Christmas at my Dad’s house and my Grandparents made it. I’m so glad to still have them in my life. I’m not sure how many of my friends still have their grandparents around, but mine are very special to me. If it were not for them, I would not have known how trusting Christ can have such a big impact on someone’s life. Through them I learned about Jesus Christ and later how to trust Him in my life. Thank you Mawmaw and Papa.
