I’m not the writer in the family but my awesome wife Jamie is and really wanted to get her an old typewriter for her office. I never thought it would be hard to find a cool old typewriter for her, but I want one that is still in working condition and it has to have the right look for her office. I will find a typewriter that meets my specification one day. But until then I get to walk around in antique stores and I might find an unique old camera in the process.
Day 128 Project 366 – Lost Dog
This dog is trying to make a new home outside one of the local business. It startled one of the employees as he came to the front door to start his day. I think the dog was more afraid of him than he was of the dog. I’m curious to see if the dog will be back tomorrow. One of the employees said that they should use is as a guard dog and get rid of the alarm system.
I know it look very cute laying behind the flower pot, but the low growling when you get closer to him takes a little of the cuteness away.
Day 127 Project 366 – Rotary Phone
I like walking through antique shops with my wife. We find all kind of cool things that bring back memories and something things we have never seen before. This rotary phone reminds me of the telephone my Grandmother had on a little table in a center room of her house for years. I also saw a few old cameras while I was there, so I may have to make a return trip there very.
Day 126 Project 366 – Little Visitor
Day 125 Project 366 – Working Officer
I love it traffic stops, and the only reason is because a police officer is on the side of the road doing his job. It took me about 20 minutes today just to get through a traffic light because people can’t drive past a cop with twisting their head around backwards to see what is going on, aka “rubber necking.” Of course I’m the one with the camera out taking a photo of the scene as I drive past.
