Day 69 project 366 – Lego

by Ken Worley

I would spent hours building towns and cars with Lego blocks when I was little. I still enjoy making things out of them with my youngest daughter. We have a very cool Lego helicopter that we build one Christmas. The main difference is that now there are special shapes to the Lego kits, unlike the ones I had as a kid that were mostly just block shaped.

Day 68 Project 366 – Harmonica

by Ken Worley

I remember driving my mom crazy with a harmonica when I was little. I’m sure that it was given to me by one of my uncles to get back at my parents for some obnoxiously loud gift that they gave my cousin. I never learned to play any songs on my harmonica but I did make a lot of noise with it.

Day 67 Project 366 – Train

by Ken Worley

I spent hours playing with toy trains when I was younger. In fact, if I had the space and the money today, I would have one of those cool town scene laid out complete with little cars and people. So the train could wind through the town.

Day 66 Project 366 – Yo-yo

by Ken Worley

I could not forget this toy in my “Childhood Toys” theme. I had more yo-yos taken up when I was in school than I want to count. It’s a simple toy but it provided me with a lot of entertainment, actually it still does.

Day 65 Project 366 – Cars

by Ken Worley

When I was younger I had a lot of Matchbox and Hot Wheels, like three cases full of them. I think the reason I liked them so much is because I could carry at least one around with me anywhere. If I’m not mistaken this is one was one I had as a kid, now it has been past down to my son’s and now my daughter has it. So it would be a third generation Hot Wheels car.
