This photograph was made in our flower garden, outside with no light modifiers. The sun was shining at just the right angle to give me a dark background and make the rose really pop. This photo was straight out of camera.

I really need to start using a pencil more. I found that if I just start writing, the process of putting ideas to paper leads to more ideas. I have to stop worrying so much about misspelled words (I’m one of the worst spellers around) and simply let the thoughts flow.
