One of the roads on the island after last night rain, it looks more like a river, This photo reminds me why people should mot drive down flooded streets. To the left of the road there is a large ditch that could swallow a car.

I was playing with extension tubes tonight. Extension tubes all the camera to get closer to the subject and still be able to focus.

My youngest made this cool looking tracked race car. It’s remote control and can pop wheels, or tracks. What ever you call a track vehicle that pop the front end up off the ground.

My Dad has at least three bee hives in his backyard. Here is just one hive with over a thousand bees hanging outside.

My Grandparents had an old LaGrange city bus in their backyard for years. They used it as a place to store stuff. My cousins and I used it as a playground. That bus was our fort, the enemy caravan moving in to attack us, a hiding spot for games, and even a magical bus to take us anyplace we wanted to go.
Now that my Grandparents are going, it is a place to remember. I was able to visit it today and share stories about my child hood and ‘The Bus” to my two youngest. This old bus will always have a special spot in my life.
