These song title themes keep songs running through my head while I keep my eyes open for a good way to translate the title into a photograph. The second in the series is from Chubby Checker “The Twist.”

I made it through week one of Project 366. Now it’s time for week two, and with a new week comes a new theme. This week’s theme is “Song Titles.” It should be fun to come up with photographs that represent song titles. Let’s start the week off with a little Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird”

A few years ago we got a popcorn popper as a Christmas gift. I decided to put it to use. I don’t know why I have not used this awesome piece of kitchenware sooner. Maybe it was because I thought it would take to long to make popcorn with it, because we are all about having things now. I was shocked at how quick it was to make a huge amount of popcorn. It only took about 5 minutes. It takes that long to make about half as much with bagged microwave popcorn, and there were no burnt kernels. So it cost less, take about the same amount of time as microwave popcorn, pops all the kernels without burning them, and it’s fun to watch the popcorn burst out of the top when it’s done.

There are many bookshelves in our home. We have shelves for Bibles and devotionals, shelves for home schooling books, shelves for home school supplies and of course shelves for photography books. I have hard time picking a favorite book especially when it comes to photography. What’s you favorite photography book?

I haven’t had my bass on my blog in a while so I thought it was time for it to make an appearance. At least part of it any way. I used a new LED video light for the first time to make this photograph.
