Milky Way

I’ve wanted to photograph the Milky Way for some time now, but living in the Atlanta suburbs the light pollution doesn’t allow us to see it with the naked eye. While vacationing in North Carolina, I was able to go down to the beach where there was almost no light pollution. Not only could I see the Milky Way but I was able to make a photograph of it. Below is my very first shot of the Milky Way, not just for this night, but my first shot ever of the Milky Way! I can’t wait to visit other places that lack light pollution, so I can make more photos of these beautiful stars.

Start the school year off right

There are so many things to worry about when starting back to school.

What am I going to wear? I have to Instagram this outfit! Who’s going to be in my class, does he or she like me? What are the teachers like, do they smell funny, just how weird are my teachers going to be this year? How am I going to remember my locker combination and where it is? I only have two 5 minutes between class to talk to my friends and get to class! Why is my locker on the other side of the school from my classes? Is the food going to be any good? And of course is the teacher going to let me use my phone in class?
