Friend Friday

by Ken Worley

Meet Ashley,

Ashley

Ashley has been in numerous plays with a local theatrical group and is a wonderful actress. I met her while working with the group as the photographer and light and sound technician. One year Jamie, Kathryn and I got the opportunity to be in a production of “Anne of Green Gables” with Ashley.  Her next role will be as the Queen of Heart in “Alice in Wonderland”.

Thank you Ashley for being this Friday’s Friend.

Photography Word Wednesday

by Ken Worley

This week’s Photography Words are:

Hot Shoe – is the mounting point on top of the camera where optional flash units are attached. I’m sure that most people have seen the hot shoe on the camera but may not have know what it was called.

Motivation Monday

by Ken Worley

This week’s Motivation picture takes me back to when I was a child and would lay on the ground and look up at the stars. I had the chance again this past weekend to lay on my back on a dock by a lake in North Carolina. It was a beautiful night for star gazing, of course I had to grab the camera and make a photograph.

Stars

Awesome view!

Friend Friday

by Ken Worley

This is my best friend and my beautiful bride.

Jamie

Jamie puts up with all my crazy ideas and silliness around the house as well as when we work together at Worley Arts. I’m so thankful the God brought us together and blessed to have her. She keeps me grounds, laughs and cries with me. I truly could not have ask for a better person to go through life with.

Thank you baby, I love you

Photography Word Wednesday

by Ken Worley

This week’s photography word is:

EXIF – Exchangeable Image File, is used to record many settings on the camera as well as information about the camera when an image is created. Information such as make and model of the camera, time and date the image use made, shutter speed, aperture setting, and ISO. I know, this information can be seen on the camera  after making the image. But there is also information that is not as easily found, like copyright info, and number of shutter actuation of the camera.
