Day 278- Bird House

A nice little decorative bird house on our mantel.  It’s a bird house in a house. For some reason Dr. Seuss books just popped into my head.

Day 276- Books

Organizing for the homeschool year can be quite a task. Just look at the size of this stack of books that Jamie starts with, I’m so thankful for my wife and her ability to homeschool our children.

Day 273: Cell Phone Break

by Ken Worley

Day 273- Phone Break

It can be very easy to get caught up the busyness of life these days and a cell phone can be a large part of the reason why. Cell phones give anyone with your cell number the ability to contact you anytime of the day. The distractions of a cell phone limits the amount of down time we have to relax and enjoy the people and the world around you. Make time this week to be disconnected from your cell phone and really enjoy the life around you.

Day 272- Cupcakes

It’s nice to come home to a surprise, especially when it’s a yummy home made cupcake with chocolate icing and sprinkles. The girls made cupcakes for a friends birthday party today and set one to the side for me.

Yes, sometimes I still play with toys. That is one of the cool things about having kids. Here is one of my favorite characters from Cars.
