When you daughter has a new lightsaber there is no way it not going to be used in a photo. An it can be an color including orange, because that’s this week’s word, how cool is that. I may have to get me one just so we can create some unique photos with them.

Still shooting stuff that is orange to go with this week’s word. Believe it or not this yo-yo is spinning. But because I used a flash, it is frozen in time. I might try another photo later to see if I can show the blur of a spinning yo-yo.

I found some orange conduit at a road side construction site to help me stick with this week’s word, orange. I got some very funny looks from the workers when I pulled in and started taking pictures of the spools. I’m sure they thought I had lost me mind.

The Moon and Venus were shining so bright in the sky this morning just before sunrise. There was not way i was going to just keep driving and ignore them. So I made a quick stop by the beach and get this great shot. Bonus to have such an orange horizon to go with this week’s word, “orange.”

Look at that cute face! Daisy knows how to relax and she has really been enjoying her new fluffy bed.
Remember this week’s word was pet, I managed to get a photo of all three of the pets in the house. Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for a new word of the week.

I’m glad we live so close to the ocean. It gives us the ability to make a spur of the moment trip to the beach. I wanted to try and watch the sunset with the kids but we missed it by a minute or two. It was still nice watching my youngest look out over the water and enjoy the view. I like to think he was in deep though about something profound, but he was probably just thinking about how far he could through a seashell.

I’m always on the lookout for something interesting. I ran across a Leica camera, it was at one time connected to a piece medical equipment. Because it didn’t have a lens, I thought I might be able use it as pinhole camera. Now I just need to find a lens cap to poke a pinhole in and some film.

You never know what’s going to inspire you. I saw my guitar in the corner and though, it would look nice in black and white.

Back to the word of the week, Pet. This is my daughter’s pet, Freddie the python. He’s not very fond of this chair, because he has a hard time getting any traction.
