When I was younger my Dad was a magician and was even part owner in a magic shop. I’ve been around cards, and many other magical props most of my life. In some ways I wish I would have worked on the craft much more then I did, but like they say hind site is twenty-twenty. Who knows, I might dust off some of those books my Dad gave me and pick up a few tricks of my own.

Today was a beautiful day and a great day to be out side enjoying it; so Jamie went paddle boarding while the kids I fish on the dock.

I decided to play with a little light paint on my guitar. Using a flashlight at a slow shutter speed to come up with this image. I think I’m going to have to try more of these in these future.

It’s hard for my son to walk by heavy machinery and not want to climb on it. I have to admit it’s hard for my as well.

When working with medical offices, you never know what you might see. Today I saw something smiling at me in my peripheral vision. Something are a little creepy.

I took a little time after work to walk on the pier. I was a very windy day that is why there are so many whitecaps out there. You can also see the Oak Island Lighthouse way off in the distance.

Yes, I decided to break out my sticks again. It’s been a long time and I have to work up to where I once was, but I’m going to have fun teaching my youngest two a little more about rhythm and music along the way.

Our church opened back up today for the first time scents COVID-19 shut just about everything down. There are still restrictions for people coming to the church. And for anyone who didn’t feel comfortable being there in person, the service was available through live streaming online.
