Flags were flying a half-staff today in the United States for Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance. Don’t forget those how lost there life on September 11th 2001.

This is an old concrete plant not far from my house. I drive by it just about everyday so I decided to take a little detour and get a shot from an angle I don’t often see.

It was such a nice day today I had to take a quick shot of the clouds. I love this weather, is there some place that is 75 degrees year around?

I enjoy coffee, maybe a little too much at times. I like finding quiet coffee shops where I can sit and enjoy the atmosphere. This is a shot from a great place called Cafe’ 33; they also serve breakfast and lunch. I might have to make another trip there for lunch.

The Corvette, one of the American classic in sport cars. I had the opportunity to drive a Vette to prom the first year they had a 6-speed manual transmission. My prom date’s dad had a new Corvette and a 1958 Vette as well. I knew that there was no way I was getting to drive the 1958.

Porsche has always been one of my favorite cars. I own one of Porsche distant cousins, a Volkswagen. It’s still German engineering, just at a slower pace.

It’s not easy being green, but it helps when you have a lot of horsepower to back you.

We have been sponsors of the Holy Smoke BBQ and Music Festival for the last three years. This year they had a car show to go with all the food and music of the day. There were a lot of cool cars there, so this may be a week of car photos.
