Day 67 Project 366 – Train

by Ken Worley

I spent hours playing with toy trains when I was younger. In fact, if I had the space and the money today, I would have one of those cool town scene laid out complete with little cars and people. So the train could wind through the town.

Day 66 Project 366 – Yo-yo

by Ken Worley

I could not forget this toy in my “Childhood Toys” theme. I had more yo-yos taken up when I was in school than I want to count. It’s a simple toy but it provided me with a lot of entertainment, actually it still does.

Day 65 Project 366 – Cars

by Ken Worley

When I was younger I had a lot of Matchbox and Hot Wheels, like three cases full of them. I think the reason I liked them so much is because I could carry at least one around with me anywhere. If I’m not mistaken this is one was one I had as a kid, now it has been past down to my son’s and now my daughter has it. So it would be a third generation Hot Wheels car.

Day 64 Project 366 – Marbles

by Ken Worley

Today starts a new theme of the week “Childhood Toys.” I remember playing marbles in the dirt in font of my grandparents house with my cousins. So when my youngest daughter received marbles as a gift one year, it really brought back a lot of childhood memories.

Day 63 Project 366 – My Wife Rocks!

by Ken Worley

Today is the last day to the theme “Express Yourself.” Here is my beautiful wife Jamie expressing how she feels about me. The t-shirt says”My Husband Rocks.” I hope she knows that she’s the one that really rocks and I love her more everyday. I just don’t have the t-shirt that says “My Wife Rocks”, yet.

Day 62 Project 366 – Motorcycle Police Officer

by Ken Worley

I feel that I have been a big failure on this week’s theme “Express Yourself.” But then I thought it doesn’t have to me expressing myself, it can be someone else. So here is a motorcycle police officer about to express himself to someone that has broken the law.

Day 61 Project 366 – Limo

by Ken Worley

Welcome to March. I thought March was a cold month, well today I thought I was going to melt while riding down the interstate. Did I forget to mention that my AC is broken in my car. But at least I did get to race this limousine to my exit on the way back from getting my LCD screen repaired on my D700, yes!

Day 60 Project 366 – Apple

by Ken Worley

An apple, photographed with one off camera flash as the light source and, because my LCD is still not working on my camera, I had to break out my light meter.

Day 59 Project 366 – City Past the Trees

by Ken Worley

I made this photo as I was leaving the camera repair shop, they were checking to see what needed to be done to fix my LCD on the back of the camera. I hope to have it repaired this week, it will be nice to be able to see the menu on the back of my camera again. So for this photo I didn’t have a way of seeing exactly what it looked like until I was home and could download it on to my computer. It really has shown me how much of a habit it is to glance at the back of the camera when out shooting.

Day 58 Project 366 – Notes

by Ken Worley

Day two of the “Express Yourself” theme. At time a write notes complete with little drawing to help in my thought process. Oh yea and on a side note, after I make this photo I went to glance at my LCD on the back of the camera and there was nothing, just a blank screen. It’s going to be like shooting with film again until I can get it repaired. This could be a test of my abilities. I have heard of photography workshops that tape the LCD and have the students shot all day without. But at least they can take the tape and see their images at the end of the day.
