Today was a beautiful day, there were butterflies and birds all around our house. Lindsey decided to take a photo of a butterfly on our butterfly bush. If you look closely there are at least three butterflies in this photograph with her.

Day 219 Project 366 – Bird Bath Party in the Street
The birds around our house love a nice rain. There were about ten birds trying to get in this small puddle as I walked down our driveway toward the street and scared them all away. I waited crouched down by our mailbox to see if any of them would come back and here are the three brave little one that ventured back first.
Day 218 Project 366 – Hummingbird on Black
We have at least three hummingbirds flying around in our backyard. I decided to try and make a photo of at least one of them while it was coming to the feeder. I also wanted to see if I could photograph one of the quick little jokers against a black background. I got the idea to use the background after reading Scott Bourne’s post about Photographing Hummingbirds in Madera Canyon AZ. My hummingbird shot is not close to the quality of his, but I’m learning.
Day 217 Project 366 – Lens Cap
Day 216 Project 366 – Boats
Today was science experiment day for Lindsey. The experiment was to see which boat move the most depending on the motor. Each boat had a different motor, there was chewed gum, facial tissue, soap, and one had no motor. At the bottom I made a modification to mine.
I added a sail to mine just for fun.
